Girls Golf Captures GCAC Conference Championship

Loyola Academy Girls Varsity Golf captured the GCAC Conference Championship on Thursday, September 24, at Green Garden Country Club in Frankfort, Illinois. The Ramblers recorded a team score of 338 to finish first among the 11 competing teams.

Mirah Le led Loyola with a 79 (+7), earning third place individually. Sophia Labuz followed with an 83 (+11) to finish fourth, while Charlotte Hammond carded an 85 (+13) to place eighth.

Cece Swaim and Libby Heinlein each contributed a 91, and Maggie Devore completed the Loyola lineup with a 95.

With Le, Labuz and Hammond finishing among the top 10 individually, the Ramblers delivered a strong all-around performance to secure the conference title and build momentum heading into postseason competition.
