At Loyola Academy, the college search and application process is more than a checklist—it's a journey of self-discovery rooted in reflection, discernment, and growth. We view this important milestone as a continuation of the formation that begins the moment a student walks through our doors: the development of confident, capable young people prepared to to lead with purpose, integrity, and compassion in a complex and changing world.

Grounded in Jesuit values, our College Counseling program empowers students to discover who they are, what they value, and where they are called to go next. With a focus on cura personalis—the care of the whole person—we walk alongside students and their families every step of the way, offering expert guidance, thoughtful questions, and unwavering support. Each student is paired with an individual college counselor who comes to know them beyond transcripts and test scores, understanding their strengths, interests, goals, and growth throughout high school. Through one-on-one meetings, workshops, classroom instruction, and regular visits from college admission representatives across the country, students are encouraged to explore possibilities broadly and approach the process with confidence and hope for what lies ahead.
