10/26/2026

Loyola Academy’s Honors Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra students shared their musical talents at the Fall Orchestra Concert on October 16, 2026. Featuring classical works, contemporary compositions and a familiar Disney favorite, the program highlighted students’ versatility as ensemble musicians and soloists.
The evening included Karl Jenkins’ Palladio and Katie O’Hara Labrie’s Morning Star, along with featured performances by violinists Olivia Stelmach ‘28, James Brumwell ‘27 and Gabriela Kupiec ‘28. Stelmach performed Vivaldi’s Winter from The Four Seasons, while Brumwell presented a movement from Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3. Kupiec performed a movement from Charles Auguste de Bériot’s Violin Concerto No. 9, and pianist Luke Maciejewski ‘28 took the spotlight with a selection from Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2.
Rounding out the program were Alan Menken’s spirited Kingdom Dance from Tangled and Alberto Ginastera’s Danza Final (Malambo) from Estancia, both arranged by Robert Longfield. Throughout the evening, student pianists and percussionists joined the string musicians, contributing to a program that reflected their dedication, collaboration and artistic growth.
