2022 Open House Welcomes Prospective Rambler Families
The Office of Admissions welcomed over 600 prospective students and their families to campus for a bustling fall 2022 Open House on Thursday, November 3. Junior high students were paired with current Ramblers for personal tours of the school and facilities like the student center, library, piazza, and — new this year — the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center.
Every year showcases the very best of Loyola Academy’s academic, athletic, ministry, and curricular programs. We are grateful to the 800 Ramblers who volunteered to give tours to each family, work in classrooms and represent their cocurricular club and/or athletic team.
"One thing I have learned for certain in the 30+ years I have been associated with Loyola Academy—as a student, alumnus, employee, and parent—is that this is a special community," says Vice President for Admissions and Enrollment Beau Desherow '93. "This is never more evident than at our annual open house. It is great to share our campus and community with future Rambler families."
For those unable to attend Open House in-person, two virtual options provided a convenient alternative for families interested in learning more about Loyola Academy: a virtual tour and a virtual open house.
Next up for 8th grade students: the Loyola Academy Entrance Exam is on Saturday, December 3. Loyola administers the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Online pre-registration for the exam is available from November 12 until December 1 at 8:00 a.m. Please visit goramblers.org/entranceexam for additional information and to register beginning November 12.
