Welcome

Loyola Academy—our people, programs, and mission—is remarkably special, and it is quite meaningful to be called to help guide this community that has been transformative to my life (I graduated from Loyola in 1988) and to four generations of my family. In fact, it was during my days at Loyola, when we students were asked—'How will you be a person for others?'—that I first envisioned becoming an educator. My great hope as your principal is that as you venture through your years as a Rambler—presently as a student and then as an alum—that you find your life animated and enhanced in meaningful and profound ways by our people and purposes, and that you will have the courage to cultivate quality answers to that same question: 'How will you be a person for others?' That’s an audacious way to live one’s life—to be in service to others. How do you prepare yourself to do that? Answers are here for you at Loyola Academy.

Ad majorem Dei gloriam (AMDG—for the greater glory of God).
