Campus Ministry Mission Statement

Inspired by our Jesuit, Catholic tradition, we accompany the members of the Loyola Academy community on the journey to friendship with God, empowering them to live lives of prayer, reflection, service and social justice in imitation of Jesus Christ.

  • Summer Service & Immersion

    St. Ignatius of Loyola encouraged all people of faith to "go forth and set the world on fire". Loyola Academy's Summer Service & Immersion program provides students an opportunity to go out into the world and share their gifts with others.

  • Freshman Retreats

    Freshman retreat is a mandatory part of the first year student's experience. Students will have the opportunity to come to campus on a Sunday to learn more about themselves, God and others.

  • Sophomore Retreats

    Sophomore retreat is a mandatory part of the second year student's experience. Students will have an opportunity to choose from many options. Four overnight retreats will be offered, as well as multiple one day retreats. Retreat topics will vary. Additional information and registration for all sophomore retreats will be emailed to parents and students in August. Once students choose a date they will be contacted with available retreat topics from which to choose.

  • Kairos Retreats

    Juniors have the opportunity to attend Kairos beginning in November, 2023. Dates for Kairos for the Class of 2025 are

  • Senior Retreats

    Seniors who have not yet attended Kairos will have the opportunity to go on the retreat on September 27 to September 29.

    Seniors also have the opportunity to attend one of four senior retreats in the 2023–2024 school year.
