Parents and guardians are an integral part of the Loyola Academy community. There are many opportunities where we invite you to share your talents and get involved in the life of the school beyond your student's classroom.
All RPO events are contingent on direction from state and local authorities. Please check the school calendar for confirmed 2020—21 events.
Always a highlight of the Loyola calendar year, Fr. McGrath shares an evening of spiritual thought and reflection in the Chapel’s intimate setting. Please join us as we explore St. Ignatius’ teachings on how to experience God in our daily lives.
Parents of underclassmen set up the tables on Saturday and serve a catered brunch to the graduates and their parents after Mass. In addition, the RPO helps collect uniform shirts donated from graduating seniors and arrange for volunteers to wash them during the summer.
Frosh parents will be assigned the same “houses” as their frosh Rambler to help foster new friendships. Parents of upper-classmen will help welcome the new parents to Loyola, introduce new parents to each other to facilitate “breaking the ice,” and learn about the different ways parents can get involved at Loyola.
Rambler parents will begin their evening with a Mass followed by a Christmas party in the Piazza. Food and adult beverages will be served. On display for sale will be specialty items from Loyola’s Bookstore as well as seasonal items from various local vendors.
While not a RPO hosted event, we invite all parents to get involved in the school’s largest Tuition Assistance fundraiser. Please consider sharing your existing talents or maybe you want to try developing a new one...we invite you to sign up and get involved today.
Spring is here and it's time to reconnect. Let’s celebrate mothers of graduating seniors, welcome mothers of incoming freshmen and everyone in between! You will not want to miss this evening of food, friendship and farewells.
Volunteers are needed to help Loyola make a great impression upon prospective Rambler and their families. RPO members are available to help direct parents to destinations throughout the school and share information about the role of the RPO in the life of Loyola Academy.
Loyola’s faculty and staff dedicate their professional lives to helping our Rambler grow spiritually and academically. This event gives RPO members an opportunity to show appreciation for all their hard work. RPO volunteers are needed to provide food and beverage service for the event.
RPO needs two volunteers for each night of the Freshman interviews. The volunteers are responsible for working with Quest to ensure that orders have been placed for the faculty’s dinner in the faculty lounge.
Take advantage of this opportunity to the great Jesuit tradition of giving back to those less fortunate. Our annual Mass and day of service brings our Rambler families together to work on projects that directly benefit communities in need throughout the Chicagoland area.
