Varsity Boys' Water Polo Wins Palatine Tournament
The Varsity Boys' Water Polo team went 4-0 to win the Palatine Tournament on Saturday, March 10. The Ramblers defeated Mundelein and Palatine in the preliminaries and then defeated St. Ignatius and Curie in the championship round.
Sophomore goalie Jake Carr anchored a defense that only allowed 5 goals per game, collecting 37 saves. Captain John Merucci '18 scored 13 times, Captain Tony Spallone '18 netted 9 goals and sophomore Kevin Considine finished the tourney with 8 scores.
