Loyola Academy Honors First Responders

On Saturday, October 21, Loyola Academy opened its doors to very special members of our community—first responders. The event served to honor these courageous individuals who put their lives on the line daily in order to keep our communities safe.
The day began with Mass in the Chapel with Loyola Academy President Rev. Gregory J. Ostdiek, SJ. Following Mass, a beautiful reception awaited and gave attendees and family members of first responders the chance to meet and connect.

Then, guests had the opportunity to enjoy some Rambler football as Loyola took on the Mount Carmel Caravan in the final game of the regular season. The exciting matchup was even broadcast on CW26 as the Game of the Week. First responders were honored between quarters of the game, which ended with a 23-21 Rambler victory.

We extend our thanks to all the first responders for the important work they do every day and to all those who joined us for this wonderful event.
