2023 MCAC Rambler Recap

The Lady Ramblers put on quite the show this past weekend at the 2023 MCAC Girls Swimming and Diving Championships. As a team the program truly came together posting countless season, personal, and record-breaking performances. The MCAC features many of the who’s who in Illinois Swimming and Diving. At the competition this past weekend 5 pool records fell along with 3 MCAC Records! Featured below is a Rambler recap of the Top 3 Relays and Top 8 Individuals from last weekend.

 

Diving started the program off on a high note outscoring the entire field.

The following session featured the Frosh/Soph division who managed runner up honors in a field of 8 teams. This team of underclassmen serves as a strong vision of the future of LAGSD and we couldn’t be more exciting and proud of all of their progress throughout the season.

The final session of the meet featured our Junior Varsity division showcasing the depth of the program and they captured runner up honors in a field of 7!

The meet provided our Lady Ramblers that will moving on with the platform to represent their school at the IHSA Sectional Championships in 2 weeks. The weekend was a tremendous success and it goes to show….there’s no place like home!
