Ramblers Engage in Neighborhood Cleanup

On Sunday, October 22, our sophomore football team partnered with National Honor Society members in a neighborhood cleanup event following the Mt Carmel football game. More than 60 students participated, combing the outskirts of campus and the adjoining neighborhood streets—Manor Drive to the west, Lake Ave to the south and Frontage Road to the north— to pick up trash and debris. NHS and the football program plan to make this an annual event going forward.
Many thanks to Assistant Athletic Director Kate York and Sophomore Football Coach/Director of Safety and Security Greg Jacobson who supervised the event.

"Today was a great success," said York after the event. "We picked up trash and made a difference. A few neighbors saw us doing it and thanked us. It was a beautiful day and a fun way for our students to give back to the community."

Great work, Ramblers!
