Sixteen Seniors Commit to Collegiate Fine Arts Programs

In a celebration of creativity and dedication, Loyola Academy honored sixteen seniors at its annual Fine Arts Signing Ceremony, held on May 8 in the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center. These students have committed to pursuing majors or minors in various fine arts disciplines at the collegiate level, reflecting Loyola's commitment to the Jesuit ideal of forming the whole person.
During the event College Counseling Department Chair Mark Porcaro and Fine Arts Department Chair Pat Patterson recognized these students planning to study fields such as vocal performance, architecture, animation, theatre, graphic design, art history, interior design, and sound engineering. Principal Tim Devine spoke to the students and their families about the importance of the arts to the Loyola community and how proud he was of their accomplishments.
