34–3 Season Powers Ramblers to Second Place at IHSA 4A State Finals

Congratulations to the Loyola Academy Girls' Varsity Basketball team on its second-place finish at the IHSA 4A State Championship!
The Ramblers had an outstanding season, finishing with a 34–3 record. Over the past three seasons combined, the team compiled an impressive 106–7 record and advanced to the IHSA 4A State Championship for three consecutive years. With this historic run, the Ramblers finished first in 2024, fourth in 2025, and second in 2026.

Congratulations to the following athletes who received All-State recognition: Marycait Mackie '26, Clare Weasler '26, Madison Locke '27, and Emily Naraky '27. A special thank you and congratulations to Head Coach Jeremy Schoenecker and Assistant Coaches Susie McGovern and Sarah Zarymbski.

Coach Schoenecker has led the girls basketball program for the past 18 seasons and holds a remarkable 452–128 record, including four appearances in the IHSA 4A State Championship.
