Orchesis Dance Company Brings Energy and Artistry to the Loyola Stage

Loyola Academy's Orchesis Dance Company took the stage in the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center on Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7, for its third annual concert, showcasing an evening of student creativity, leadership, and performance.
This year's production featured 13 student-choreographed dances and 25 dancers—the largest concert in the program’s history. The pieces ranged from contemporary and jazz to two high-energy hip-hop numbers, highlighting the versatility and talent of the group.

Set to music by artists including Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Frank Ocean, Billie Eilish, Lorde, Ellie Goulding, and hip-hop mixes featuring Rihanna, Ciara, Beyoncé, and Nelly Furtado, each dance brought its own style and energy to the stage. A special highlight was the senior dance to "Eternity," a meaningful moment honoring the Class of 2026 and their time in Orchesis.

From the first note to the final bow, the concert highlighted the dancers’ dedication, creativity, and joy in performing. With its largest cast and most ambitious program yet, Orchesis continues to grow as a space where students lead, collaborate, and share their gifts through dance. Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s concert, helping make the performance one to remember.
