The Road Taken: Loyola's Faculty and Staff Share Their Summers in Photos
The Road Taken is the newest exhibition to be displayed in the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center Gallery. It features breathtaking photography submitted by 21 faculty and staff members as they captured their summers on camera. An upbeat twist on Robert Frost's famous poem The Road Not Taken, this exhibition examines the ways we choose to spend our time doing the things that bring us the most happiness.
"We can see images of summer travels, outings with kids, loving portraits of walks with our dogs, and gorgeous sunsets," explains Fine Arts Department Chair Pat Patterson, who curated the exhibition. "We go where we want to go, and if we missed out by not taking that other road, well, there is always next summer."
The exhibition opened on Thursday, September 18, with a light reception after school to celebrate the talented artists who participated. It will run through Wednesday, October 22. Please take note of our parent/visitor entrance policy when entering the building.
