Rambler Moms and Guardians Gather for a Spring Toast to Community

On Wednesday, May 6, Rambler mothers and guardians came together at the annual Rambler Parent Organization (RPO) Mothers Connect & Celebrate Reception at Sunset Ridge Country Club.
The reception served as a spring toast to the Loyola Academy community as current and incoming Rambler mothers and guardians gathered to celebrate shared experiences and new beginnings. Guests enjoyed appetizers, cocktails, and beautiful spring views while reconnecting with familiar faces and welcoming those just starting their Loyola journey.

The evening highlighted the strong sense of belonging that defines Loyola Academy and the RPO, with an impressive turnout of current members helping create a warm and inviting atmosphere for a record-breaking number of new Rambler moms and guardians in attendance.

In keeping with tradition, the reception recognized the mothers and guardians of graduating seniors as they prepare to close an important chapter this spring.

Loyola Academy President Rev. Gregory J. Ostdiek, SJ, shared words of gratitude for the many ways Rambler mothers and guardians support the school through their time, energy, and generosity. Additionally, Nancy Detlefsen LdM P '24, '24, '28, and Andrea Macina P '22, '24, '27, '27 were honored for their longstanding leadership and lasting contributions to the RPO.

Guests also received a preview of upcoming 2026–2027 RPO events and learned about opportunities to become more involved in supporting fellow Rambler families.

Special thanks to the many generous event sponsors, event co-chairs Megan Horton P '26, '28 and Jo Anne Tagliamonte LdM '87, P '27, '29, and the volunteers whose efforts made the event such a memorable evening.
