Loyola Academy Rowing Association News

The Loyola Academy Rowing Association had an impressive showing at the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championships, held on Kent Lake in Milford, MI, on Saturday, May 10 through Sunday, May 11. Three boats won noteworthy medals and automatically qualified to attend, with another three boats being invited to attend, the Scholastic Rowing Association of America's National Championships, which will be held on Cooper River in Pennsauken, NJ, on Friday, May 23 through Saturday, May 24.
At the Midwest Championships, the team placed the following boats:
  • Women's varsity 8+: second place
  • Women's 2nd varsity 8+: second place
  • Men's novice 8+: third place
The Men's varisty 8+, the Men's junior varisty 4+, and the Women's freshman 8+ were invited to compete at the National Championships next week. Congratulations and best of luck, Ramblers!
