Harmony in Full Force: Loyola Band Ends the Year on a High Note
On Thursday, April 16, the Loyola Academy Band filled the Leemputte Family Theatre stage in the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center with beautiful music for its final concert of the school year. Ramblers delivered an evening that showcased both the depth and diversity of the program.
The concert featured all of Loyola's ensembles—Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble—each contributing to a dynamic and varied program. Selections ranged from vibrant salsa rhythms to classical and contemporary works by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Gustav Holst, and Robert Sheldon.
The evening culminated in a powerful finale, uniting every band student on stage for a full-ensemble performance—a fitting celebration of the talent, dedication, and spirit of Loyola’s band community.
