Varsity Football Takes the Plunge!
On Sunday, March 4, the varsity football team participated in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. In accordance with the time-honored tradition, Ramblers collected pledges from friends and family in exchange for jumping into the cold waters of Lake Michigan.
Sixty-five members of the football team participated and raised over $7,700 for the Special Olympics!
“The boys football program continues to support its relationship with Misericordia by participating in the Polar Plunge, which supports the Special Olympics,” says Athletic Director Pat Mahoney’90. “We are grateful to Coach Holecek, his staff and the football team for their efforts.”
