Loyola Gold Wins Scholastic Hockey Championship

Loyola Gold defeated New Trier Green to win the Scholastic Hockey League (SHL) Championship for the first time in program history. 

In game 1, Loyola Gold won 3-2 in a thrilling overtime victory. Robbie Gapp '18 and Jack Goodworth '18 scored in regulation time while Eamon O'Brien '19 scored the game winning goal in overtime. Hugh Brady '18 was in the net.

In game 2, they won 4-3. Eamon O'Brien '19 scored in the last five seconds of the first period. Goals from Cooper Prawdzik '19 and Danny Stevens '18 came within seconds of each other early in the second period. Aidan Finegan '19 scored the fourth goal of the game. Hugh Brady '18 was in the net for the win.
