Girls' Varsity Soccer Wins Regional Championship and Sectional Semifinal
Congratulations to the Girls' Varsity Soccer Team, which defeated Lane Tech 1–0 to capture the regional championship over the weekend. In overtime, Sammy Holton '19 scored the only—and winning—goal for the Ramblers off an assist from Stephanie Ramsay '18. Maggie Avery '18 earned the shut out victory in goal. The team then advanced to the IHSA Class 3A sectional semifinal, where they defeated Glenbrook South 3–0 on Tuesday night.
Next, the Ramblers play New Trier for the sectional championship on Friday, May 25, at 6:00 p.m. at Glenbrook South High School.
