On behalf of the Loyola Academy Mothers' Club Board, it is my sincere pleasure to welcome all the Loyola Academy moms as the 2017–18 school year begins.
Loyola Academy draws students and their families from over 70 zip codes, creating a vibrant environment for students to make friends, learn, serve and grow in Christ. A great way for us as mothers to enjoy that same rich, diverse community—and have fun—is to participate in the Mothers' Club. No matter if this is your first or your last child, there are new people to meet, old friends to catch up with, new connections to make and a common bond between us all.
Come meet and visit with other Loyola Academy parents and enjoy this wonderful community. I invite all mothers to attend our opening Fall Mass and Reception on Wednesday, September 13, at 8:30 a.m. Loyola Academy President Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, SJ, will celebrate Mass and Principal Kathryn M. Baal, PhD, will be the keynote speaker.
The Mothers' Club could not do all of this without the generous support of so many of you! Please consider volunteering for a specific event, ask to be put on our "Angels" list or consider making a $35 donation to Mothers' Club. Your kind donation helps defray the expenses of the many Mothers' Club activities. Thank you!
If you are in the Loyola vicinity, please stop in at the security desk and have your driver's license scanned. Once you are in the system, when you register for Mothers' Club events that take place during the school day we will be able to print a security badge for you. This will minimize lines waiting to obtain security clearance. Please disregard if you have already gone through this process.
