Ramblers from the Class of 1956 Celebrate Their 80th Birthdays Together

On Friday, June 8, seventeen members of the Class of 1956 gathered at Hackney's on Lake Street  to celebrate their 80th birthdays together! "From September 1952 to June 1956, we gathered as one of the finest classes to ever grace Dumbach Hall," says Jim Hogan '56. "We all enjoyed four great years together! After all these years, the friendship that began in 1952 is still strong and growing."
"Tempus fugit—yes time does fly but the spirit of the Class of ’56 remains," Hogan continues. "We talk a little louder and don’t move as quickly but the laughter as we tell of our bygone exploits, somewhat enhanced by a small measure of truth, is contagious. While our class lunches years have gotten smaller over the past 34 years, the enthusiasm has gotten greater."
