The Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team captured the Chicago Catholic League (CCL) tennis title on Friday, May 11, with an impressive team total of 37 out of 40 possible points!
The Ramblers were led by flight champions Alan Arocho ’18 at 1st Singles, Jonah Wheeland ’18 at 3rd Singles and Tom Sullivan ’18 and Scott “Daly” Frost ’18 at 2nd Doubles. Ryan Reardon ’19 contributed with his 2nd place at 2nd Singles as did Andy Paden ’18 and Patrick Lawler ’19 finishing in 3rd place at 1st Doubles.
St. Ignatius was in 2nd place with 28 points and Marmion in 3rd with 24 points.
Next, the Ramblers host Niles North on Monday, May 14, as they prepare for the Niles North Sectional of the IHSA State Tournament on Friday, May 18, and Saturday, May 20.
