Loyola Academy students celebrated "Pi Day" on March 14 with a Pi Fair and related activities during lunch periods.
Students enjoyed creating a chain of Pi with each color representing a different number, completing circular sudoku puzzles, calculating their hat sizes and participating in Buffon's Needles, an activity that estimates pi.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the faculty pie-in-the face contest during next week's spring Spirit Week. All proceeds raised will benefit a refugee family sponsored by Loyola.
