Boys' Varsity Basketball Wins IHSA Regional Championship
On March 3, the boys' varsity basketball team defeated rival New Trier 43–40 to capture the IHSA regional championship title.
Ramar Evans '17 led the Ramblers with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists; Julian DeGuzman '17 totaled 11 points and 3 rebounds; Kevin Cunningham '18 brought in 7 points and 2 rebounds.
With the win, the team advances to the IHSA Class 4A sectional semifinal against #1 ranked Evanston on Tuesday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m. at Waukegan.
Pre-sale tickets will be on sale for $5.00 in the Athletic Department on Monday, March 6, and Tuesday, March 7, during the school day. All students must bring a school ID to get into the game at Waukegan. No exceptions.
