Football Brings Home 2nd Place IHSA Trophy

The Ramblers fought until the very end but could not overcome the play of Maine South in a 27-17 defeat in the IHSA 8A State Championship football game. In a back and forth slugfest between two of the state's best programs, Maine South pulled away from the Ramblers in the fourth quarter scoring the game's final 10 points. The team was led by Kyle Rock - 56 yd TD run - and Jack Marwede - 1 yd TD run. The Ramblers finish the season 13-1 and finish an amazing two year run with a record of 27-1! We are all very proud of the players and coaches.
