Girls Basketball Wins Ninth Straight Regional Championship

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team continued its dominant run, capturing the IHSA 4A Regional Championship on February 19 with a decisive 68–45 victory over Taft. The title marks the program's ninth consecutive regional championship — a testament to sustained excellence and competitive grit.
The game also featured a milestone moment, as Clare Weasler '26 scored her 1,000th career point during the championship victory, adding a historic achievement to an already memorable night.

Congratulations to the entire team and the coaching staff led by Head Coach Jeremy Shoenecker.

The Girls Basketball team advanced to the IHSA 4A Sectional Championship by defeating Evanston 41-24 on February 24.

The Ramblers now advance to the IHSA 4A Sectional Championship and will face Maine South at Maine South on Thursday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m. Good luck, Ramblers!
