Wrestling Crowns Two State Champions at IHSA 3A Finals
The Wrestling team delivered an outstanding performance at the IHSA 3A State Championship on February 21, highlighted by two individual state titles and a season filled with achievement.
Kai Calcutt '26 captured the IHSA 3A 215-pound state championship, closing out a remarkable career as a four-time state finalist and two-time state champion. Kai's consistency, determination, and leadership have defined one of the most impressive careers in Loyola wrestling history.
Niko Odiotti '28claimed the IHSA 3A 106-pound state championship, earning his first state title after finishing as a finalist last year. As a two-time state finalist, Niko's future in the Rambler wrestling program is incredibly bright.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Matt Collum and his staff, the Ramblers also secured a Regional Championship, capping a season that reflects the program's strength and tradition of excellence. Congratulations to the entire team on an extraordinary year!
