Girls' Basketball Dominates Across All Levels

It has been a remarkable winter for Loyola Girls' Basketball, with success echoing across every level of the program.
Both Freshman A and Freshman B teams capped off outstanding seasons with an impressive combined 35–7 record. Their notable performance culminated in an undefeated conference season and a Conference Tournament Championship.
The Sophomore team compiled an extraordinary 29–1 overall record. They were crowned New Trier & Loyola Thanksgiving Tournament Champions, captured the Varsity Christmas Tournament Consolation title, and claimed the GCAC regular season as well as the Tournament Championship, while also finishing undefeated in conference play.

The Varsity team currently holds a 28–2 record as they begin their Road to State next week. Their season highlights include winning the New Trier Thanksgiving Tournament, earning the Loyola Varsity Christmas Tournament Championship, capturing the GCAC Championship outright, and winning the GCAC Conference Tournament.

In his 18th season, Head Coach Jeremy Schoenecker has led all three levels to undefeated conference seasons and GCAC Tournament Championships—an exceptional accomplishment that speaks to the strength, depth, and culture of the program.

Congratulations to our Rambler basketball student-athletes and coaching staff on a truly dominant season—and good luck as the Varsity team continues its postseason run! Go Ramblers!
