Ramblers from the Class of 1972 Enjoy Special Class Celebration

Members of the Class of 1972 celebrated a special class gathering in early June. The gathering was a great opportunity for these Ramblers to reconnect with their classmates, especially for those who couldn’t make it to the class's 50th reunion in 2022.
Ramblers got reacquainted over drinks at a casual get-together at Stormy’s on Friday, June 6.
Throughout the evening, classmates laughed as they shared stories reliving their Rambler days.

On Friday, June 7, classmates gathered again to enjoy a beautiful Mass with Loyola Academy President Rev. Gregory J. Ostdiek, SJ, in the Loyola Academy Chapel. Then, they made their way to the Pasquesi Piazza for a cocktail reception before their seated dinner.

Tom Compernolle '72 served as emcee for the night’s programming, which included a special address from Bob Case '72, Bill Dunn '72, and John O'Connell '72, in which they discussed the impact their time at Loyola Academy had on them through academics, athletics, and the arts. They detailed how these experiences shaped each of them into service-oriented leaders who aspire to excellence in all they do, which is what has helped them find success long after graduation.

After dinner, many 1972 classmates stayed to enjoy live music while they continued to catch up with each other. All in all, the gathering was a powerful reminder of the lifelong connections Ramblers forge during their four years.
