Loyola Academy Senior Named National Merit Scholarship Winner

Loyola Academy is proud to announce that John (Jack) Ehlert '25 has been selected as a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship winner through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), a distinguished academic honor awarded to only 2,500 students nationwide.
This recognition is a testament to Jack's exceptional academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to excellence. Selected from a talent pool of more than 15,000 Finalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program, he stood out for his academic record, leadership, and personal accomplishments.

"Jack embodies the values of a Loyola education — a deep love of learning and a desire to use his gifts in service of others," said Principal Tim Devine ‘88. "We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and the way he reflects the mission of Loyola Academy."

Jack plans to attend Yale University, where he will continue to pursue academic excellence while leading with love and compassion in the Rambler tradition.
