Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15, and all month long at Loyola, there were opportunities for students to learn more about Hispanic culture.
A decorated main hallway greeted Ramblers at the start of Hispanic Heritage Month in September, featuring flags from Mexico, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and other Spanish-speaking countries. Bulletin boards throughout the school were transformed to mark the occasion.
Each morning, music by prominent Latinx artists, such as Don Omar, Shakira, Elvis Crespo, Romeo Santos, and even Lin-Manuel Miranda, was played to energize Ramblers for the day.
