2023 Open House Welcomes Prospective Ramblers

The Office of Admissions welcomed over 700 prospective students and their families to campus for a bustling fall 2023 Open House on Thursday, November 2. Junior high students experienced a tour of the school and Loyola's outstanding facilities like the student center, library, piazza, pool, and performing arts center.
Open House showcases the very best of Loyola Academy's academic, athletic, ministry, and curricular programs. We are grateful to the 500 Ramblers who volunteered to give tours, work in classrooms, and represent their club and/or athletic team.

In his first year as director of admission, Mr. Nick Bridich implemented a number of changes to the event program that resulted in an enhanced open house experience, including an option for families to preregister for timed entry, a self-guided tour brochure, and a brief welcome and presentation from Loyola Academy Principal Mr. Tim Devine '88. Loyola's all-female a capella group, Nothin' But Treble, performed during Principal Devine's presentation, and various members of our Arts Department performed throughout the building to welcome families and showcase their current projects.

Next up for 8th grade students: the Loyola Academy Entrance Exam is on Saturday, December 2. Loyola administers the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Online pre-registration for the exam is available from November 11 until November 30. Please visit goramblers.org/entranceexam for additional information and to register beginning November 11.

Many thanks to our dedicated Admissions Office for their efforts in bringing about a successful 2023 Open House: Nick Bridich, director of admissions; Lynn Gorman, assistant director of admissions; Ramar Evans '17, admissions recruiter; and Manuela Sanchez, admissions recruiter.
