Loyola Academy Sailing Team

Congratulations to the Loyola Academy Sailing Team who sailed over the weekend in the Central Great Oaks Qualifier regatta hosted by the Pontiac Yacht Club. The team was skippered by Adler Johnston '27, and crewed by Francesca Wildi '25 and Lia Nafe '25. The team sailed both Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24, under beautiful conditions and placed 7th, tying with 6th place, out of a field of 13 highly competitive teams from the MISSA region. Teams came all over the Midwest covering Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Great racing from all, with many close scores. We want to thank Sheridan Shore Sailing School for coaching the team and the Pontiac Yacht Club for running the regatta.
