Rambler Parents Meet & Mingle at RPO Parent Welcome Mixer
Over 300 parents and guardians of freshman and sophomore Ramblers gathered on the evening of Thursday, September 7, at a mixer hosted by the Rambler Parent Organization (RPO). The casual event took place outside of the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center and encouraged parents/guardians to get acquainted with one another and meet new friends.
Welcoming parents to the event were RPO Leaders, Andrea Macina P ’22, ‘24, ‘27, ‘27 and Nancy Detlefsen LdM ’93 P ’24, Loyola Academy Principal Tim Devine ’88, and Loyola Academy President Rev. Gregory J. Ostdiek, SJ. They encouraged Rambler parents to get involved in the life of the school and beyond the classroom. Parents who are new to Loyola also had a chance to connect with their Parent Ambassadors, as well as members of the RPO Leadership Team.
“Loyola Academy is blessed to have such a tight-knit community of parents and guardians,” said Special Events Coordinator Clarice Swanson ’14, who helped plan the event.
Many thanks to all attendees who helped make this a beautiful late-summer evening. And special thanks to co-chairs Julie Schirmang P '24, '26, Jen Marino '97 P '26, '27, and Karen Williamson P '26 and the dedicated RPO parent volunteers who made this event possible!
