Two Ramblers Win the Illinois Music Education Association Contest
Loyola Academy is proud to announce that cellist Samuel Cho '24 of Honors Orchestra and Valentina Iusco '23 of Honors Chamber Choir won the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) Contest and were accepted into the Honors All State Senior Ensembles. The ILMEA All State Orchestra and Choir are audition-based ensembles that are made up of top instrumental and choir students from all over the state of Illinois. It is representative of the best auditions from around each district in Illinois. The audition process was daunting and musically challenging, but Sam and Valentina's performances rose to the occasion.
