Loyola Celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints

The Loyola community gathered to celebrate a beautiful All Saints Day Mass on Tuesday, November 1, with Loyola Academy President Rev. Gregory J. Ostdiek, SJ, presiding. In his Homily, Campus Minister Rev. Stanislaw Czarnecki, SJ, encouraged students to live their fullest lives in communion with God.
"I invite you today to open up and glimpse a moment of joy in your life. Recognize it, pay attention to it, be grateful for it, and put your love in action," Fr. Stan said. Before closing, he asked members of the football team to stand and lead the congregation in St. Ignatius of Loyola's Prayer for Generosity:

Lord, teach me to be generous,

to serve you as you deserve,

to give and no to count the cost,

to fight and not to heed the wounds,

to toil and not to seek for rest,

to labor and not to look for any reward,

save that of knowing that I do your Holy will.
