Loyola Academy Students Win ILMEA Contest
Loyola Academy is proud to announce that cellist Samuel Cho '24 of Honors Orchestra and Valentina Lusco '23 won the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) Senior Orchestra Contest and were accepted into the District 7 Senior ensembles.
The ILMEA District 7 Orchestra is an audition-based orchestra that is made up of top instrumental students from all over District 7 (north Chicago suburbs). It is representative of the best auditions from around the district. The audition process was daunting and musically challenging, but Samuel and Valentina's performances rose to the occasion.
