Loyola Students Awarded with Academic Honors from College Board National Recognition Programs

Eleven seniors from the Class of 2023 have been named awardees in the College Board's National Recognition Program, which grants underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications.
The National Recognition Program is not a scholarship program; however, students can include this academic honor in their college and scholarship applications, helping them stand out during the admissions process.

These students earned this recognition because of their academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on College Board assessments. They've accomplished these milestones during an immensely demanding period of their high school career! Congratulations to the following Ramblers:

Sarah Adebayo ’23, National African American Recognition Award
Declan Davis ’23, National Indigenous Award
Amal Diabor ’23, National African American Recognition Award
Marieclaire Fadonougbo ’23, National African American Recognition Award

“We want to honor the hard work of these students through the College Board National Recognition Programs. This program creates a way for colleges and scholarship programs to connect directly with underrepresented students who they are hoping to reach,” said Tarlin Ray, College Board senior vice president of BigFuture. “We hope the award winners and their families celebrate this prestigious honor and it helps them plan for their big future.”
