Spring Sports Summaries

Congratulations to our student-athletes! The spring sports season ended on Saturday, April 24, and the Ramblers had outstanding showings on the court and field. The following Loyola Academy teams competed in a non-traditional shortened spring season, which did not include an IHSA state series, due to the cancellation of their seasons in fall 2020. However, the athletes made the most of their opportunities. Overall 465 athletes competed on 12 teams during the spring sports season.
The athletic department is grateful for the support and commitment from the coaches, athletes and their families to make the spring sports season a success!

Field Hockey

The Loyola Field Hockey team competed in the spring season this year and had a very competitive season. Led by head Coach Misty Brady and senior captains Abby Bevan, Ellie Clifford and Betsy Regan, the team finished 9–4. A special thank you to the Field Hockey Dad Squad who provided game day support throughout the season.
