Ramblers Accepted into the Illinois Music Education Association Senior Honors Ensembles
We are delighted to announce that four Loyola Academy students have been accepted into the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) district 7 senior honors ensembles! Congratulations to Samuel Cho ’24: Honors Orchestra - Cello; Kaitlynn Holbach ’23: Senior Band - Flute; Casey Lyons ’22: Honors Chambers - Tenor I; and Isabella Lombardo ’21: Honors Chambers - Alto II.
The ILMEA district 7 auditions were held virtually this year. District 7 is made up of students from north Chicago and north suburbs. It is representative of the best auditions from the entire district. The audition process was daunting and musically challenging.
