For their final project, Honors Dance students were asked to journal about their experience sheltering-in-place and then create a video exploring everyday activities and unconventional places to move in their homes. Honors Dance Teacher Debbie Hensleeasked the class to incorporate a number of creative elements into the videos—a request that resulted in a beautiful blend of visual and performing arts.
These creative elements included:
Music Slow motion Written word Reverse shot (ex: going out the door/coming in) Split screen (vertical or horizontal) Partner pickup Still photo (one of each person) At least two different filters A title at beginning of film and credits at end
