On Wednesday, June 12, more than 100 Loyola Academy Golden Graduate Parents, who had children at the Academy in the 70s, 80s and 90s, and golden Rambler alumni, who have already celebrated their 50-year reunion, came together for an evening of community and camaraderie at the inaugural Golden Mass and Dinner.
Loyola Academy President Rev. Patrick E. McGrath, SJ, presided over Mass in the Loyola Chapel. An elegant dinner followed in the Student Center where reflections were given by alumnus Jordan King '18 , golden graduate parent Marge Livingston and Principal Gifts Officer and Director of Planned Giving Tom Cramer. Each offered a different take on the Loyola experience and emphasized the importance of the community as a whole.
Cramer, who was one of the event’s co-organizers, said, “It’s great to see the older Loyola Academy alumni and graduate parents getting together, saying hello to each other and catching up on the latest news. It’s easy to feel the love they have for Loyola.” The event was a wonderful reminder of a favorite Loyola saying: Once a Rambler, always a Rambler!
A special thank you to our Golden Mass and Dinner Committee:
