A Jesuit College Preparatory Experience
Second Century Campaign

Steady Progress Toward New Aquatic Center

Loyola’s Wilmette campus is in the midst of a great transformation! The John D. Norcross '54 Aquatic Center and the Piazza, a light-filled space that will connect our new aquatic center to our West Gym and academic wings, are on target to open in Fall 2019.
In recent weeks, the roof deck over the natatorium was installed, steel beams have been erected and masonry work is complete. Next, we look forward to the limestone and brick installation and the continued build out of interior spaces.

After a rigorous review and selection process, Loyola joined forces with CannonDesign Chicago, a global design firm with a dynamic team of architects, engineers and industry experts, and Valenti Builders, an award-winning construction management firm with a commitment to the values that are at the heart of our Jesuit mission. For Valenti Builder’s President Daniel J. Valenti ’01, Project Manager Jack Scapin ’98 and Senior Superintendent Daniel A. Nowak ’83, the task of transforming our blueprints into bricks and mortar is more that a job—it’s a mission to do more for Loyola’s Ramblers. Learn more at
