Loyola Academy Presents “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” Fall Play

Loyola Academy's Department of Performing Arts and Thespian Troupe 4729 performed “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on November 1–4. Loved by many all over the world, love and mischief, mistaken identity, fairies and magic abound in this classic farce, one of William Shakespeare's greatest and most beloved comedies.
“It is a timeless story, and only the ancient language transports us back to Shakespeare’s day,” wrote Kayla Fowler ’21, the play’s assistant director, in a note that appeared in the program book. “This story is an important one, and one that is easily accessible in many ways…Throughout the process, I have come to appreciate the true timelessness of the play”

Congratulations to the cast, crew and production staff!

Designed and directed by theater teacher Mr. James Yost.
