Varsity Baseball Advances to IHSA Sectionals
The Boys Varsity Baseball team won its first IHSA Regional Championship since 2015 with a 4–1 victory over Notre Dame College Prep. The Ramblers advance to the IHSA sectionals where they will play Maine West on Wednesday, May 30, at 4:30 p.m. at Loyola Academy's Munz Campus in Glenview.
After graduating a couple of hours earlier, on Saturday, May 26, Henry Haracz '18 pitched 6 innings of one run ball, striking out 4 to record the win on the mound. Jake Novak '19 pitched a scoreless 7th inning in relief to earn the save. Will Jackson '18 led the offense driving in the teams first run on a single and scoring 2 runs himself.
