Loyola Rowing Takes First Place at Judge Dunne Regatta

Loyola Academy Rowing Association hosted the Judge Dunne Regatta on Saturday, May 5, at the Dammrich Boat House in Skokie. The Varsity 1 boys clinched 1st place and the day's fastest overall time of 5:52.
Other teams competing were: New Trier, The Chicago Rowing Foundation and The Milwaukee Rowing Club.

The team is coached by Loyola alumnus Brian Martin '97. Members include: Coxswain Blake Bernstein '18; Rowers: Jack Smith '18, Patrick Sullivan '18, Ben Dukes '19, Ryan Tully '18, Luis Mendez, Jr. '18, Chris Donovan '19, Peter Schlax '18 and Jack Hare '18.

This race was named in honor of Judge Arthur Dunne, the former presiding Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
