• Junior High Fine Arts Night

  All students in grades six, seven, or eight can enjoy an evening at Loyola Academy exploring the Performing and Fine Arts. Students will curate their experience by selecting three rotations from the following concentrations: architecture, band, choir, dance, orchestra, theater, and studio arts. • VIP Girls' Volleyball Night

• Junior High Pep Band Day

  Calling all sixth, seventh, and eighth grade musicians! Join us for Junior High Marching Band Day as we support the Loyola Academy Ramblers in their home matchup against the Providence Catholic Celtics. You'll have the chance to perform with the band during the game and at halftime on center field. Music will be sent in advance by Loyola's Band Director Mr. McQuinn so you can jump right in! • TikTok Hip Hop

  Students in grades six, seven, and eight hop your way into the newest TikTok dance routines. Loyola Academy dancers and teachers will instruct and film. Post and share your night of fun. Check in begins at 5:45 p.m. in the lobby of door 6 (north of stadium), event begins at 6:00 p.m., and pick up is at 8:15 p.m. Registration fee is $25 and includes dinner and a t-shirt. • Open House

  11/7/2024 4:30 PM to 11/7/2024 8:30 PM

  An orientation event for prospective students and their parents. Please register for one of the following sessions: 4:30 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The sessions will start in the East Gym with a presentation by Tim Devine, principal of Loyola Academy, and then continue with a personalized tour with a Rambler. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Due to the high level of interest, we have expanded the number of tour sessions during these times. Although pre-registration is highly encouraged, if you are unable to register, walk-ins will be welcome during each of the above tour sessions. Visit goramblers.org/openhouse for more information.

• STEAM Night

  Boys and girls in grades sixth, seventh, and eighth are invited to the Rambler STEAM Night. The evening will include a design activity, team-building event, and an electronic project. There will be short presentations on 3D printing, laser etching, and robotics. Meet other students who share an interest in STEAM! Check in begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Piazza Lobby (door #6 north of the stadium), event begins at 5:45 p.m. and pickup is at 8:15 p.m. Registration fee is $35 and includes dinner and a t-shirt. • Junior High Cheer Night

  12/6/2024 5:30 PM to 12/6/2024 7:15 PM

  Students in grades five, six, seven, or eight can enjoy an evening at Loyola Academy to cheer on the Loyola Ramblers vs. Brother Rice Crusaders. Ramblers' Varsity Coach, Roxy Kakareka, and the cheer team will teach the students a routine that will be performed at the boys' varsity basketball halftime show. Come be a part of an exciting day of Rambler cheer! Drop off begins at 5:15 p.m., game time is 6:30 p.m., pick up is after the halftime show at approximately 7:15 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact the admissions office at admissions@loy.org. • VIP Boys' Basketball Night

  Boys in grades six, seven, or eight can enjoy an evening at Loyola Academy to cheer on the Loyola Ramblers vs. Brother Rice Crusaders. As VIP guests, participants will be included in Coach Livatino's pre-game talk, take a picture with the varsity team, and enjoy dinner and reserved seating at the game. Come be a part of an exciting night of Rambler basketball! Check in begins at 5:45 p.m. and pick up is at 8:00 p.m. Registration fee is $25 and includes dinner, t-shirt and cinch bag. • Entrance Exam

  12/7/2024 8:00 AM to 12/7/2024 11:30 AM

  Online registration for the entrance exam will begin on Monday, November 11.
  
  The Loyola Academy administers the High School Placement Test (HSPT). The HSPT has five sections: verbal, quantitative, reading, math and language (English). The exam is only open to current eighth grade students. Students must take the Loyola Academy Entrance Exam to be considered for admission to Loyola Academy and financial aid. A student may only test at one Catholic high school.

• VIP Girls' Basketball Night

  Girls in grades six, seven, and eight* are invited to enjoy an afternoon at Loyola Academy to cheer on the Loyola Ramblers vs. Richwoods (Peoria) Knights. As VIP guests, the participants will enjoy a snack and reserved seating, meet the coach and be part of the pre-game and post-game rituals. Come be a part of an exciting afternoon of Rambler basketball!
  
  Check in begins at 2:45 p.m. in the lobby of door 6 (north of the stadium), event begins at 3:00 p.m., game starts at 4:00 p.m. and pick up is shortly after the game concludes.
