Open to students in grades 10-12, this course is all about diving into the exciting world of live theater! You'll explore acting, theater history, stage production, technical theater, and even playwriting. Through hands-on projects and performances, you'll collaborate with classmates to bring stories to life on stage. If you're a freshman or sophomore, you can take this course instead of Physical Education.
Honors Theater Studio
Open to students in grades 9-12, this course is perfect for those with theater experience or a strong passion for the performing arts. With a focus on creative process and collaboration, this project-based course introduces you to the skills needed for future advanced theater classes. If you're a freshman or sophomore, you can take this course instead of Physical Education.
Honors Acting Studio
Prerequisite: Theatre Experience, Honors Theatre Studio, or teacher approval.
Open to grades 10-12, this course takes your acting to the next level with improv, character work, and scene study. You’ll break down scripts, build onstage chemistry, and bring characters to life with bold choices. With rotating topics like musical theater, Realism, and period styles, by year’s end, you'll have your own go-to rehearsal process.
Honors Technical Theater Studio
Open to grades 10-12, this hands-on course covers set, costume, lighting, sound, and stage management. Students will design and build costumes, hang and focus lights in the PAC, and work with the theater’s sound system. They'll also apply construction techniques, develop leadership skills, and safely use power tools. Prerequisite: Theatre Experience, Honors Theatre Studio, or teacher approval.

The Fall Play varies between comedy and drama, contemporary and classic work. Small to medium cast sizes and student-led production work make this a great experience that mirrors the professional storefront theatre process.
Spring Musical
The Spring Musical is a spectacular way to celebrate the spring semester through large, sweeping stories, dancing, singing, and meaningful moments. Mixing musical styles and genres, we produce jukebox, Golden Age, contemporary, and experimental musicals.
